Getting a Great Deal

Who amongst us does not want the best deal, the best service, and the best of the best? However to get this "best deal" you must compare apples to apples and make certain that everything is included in your quote. We recently had a client switch to a different exhibit house - and quite truthfully the design they were given and that was produced on the show floor was magnificent. Our fault was that we stuck to their budget and included all of the services that they listed. The other exhibit house did not.

Result - they were faced with an additional $9,000 in post show billings.

Last month we introduced our Green Conscious Exhibiting mandate green.absoluteexhibits.com. So, that was great - at least you know we are trying - but what does that mean to you? Beginning January 1, 2008 and continuing for the next 60 days we are discounting all of our recyclable aluminum system rentals. That means that any component of our custom designed Meroform exhibit system hardware, lighting, carpet and padding, audio visual items and furniture will be discounted at 50%.

Renting vs. Buying an Exhibit ... Hidden Benefits

Absolute Exhibits does both - we rent and we sell exhibits. It seems that virtually everyone rents their exhibit In Europe, South America, and Asia. However, it costs far less money in those locales to rent a display. In fact the "turn and burn" system of building on the show floor and throwing away an exhibit is very popular - although not very "green-thinking." It has taken a number of years for Americans to catch-up with the rental philosophy.

Convention News - May, the Most Beautiful Month!

What better a month for a show than May? No matter where your destination it will be beautiful - not too hot, nor too cold and no clinging humidity. Oil, hardware, restaurants, candy, books, and stationery highlight this month's list. The National Hardware Show, co-located with The Gourmet Food Show is back in Las Vegas and bigger than ever May 6-8. A major international show, the OTC - Offshore Technology Conference enters Houston on the same dates. FMI - Food Marketing Institute (May 4-8) and the NRA - The National Restaurant Show (May 17-20) both come to Chicago in May as does the All Candy Expo (May 20-22). The Book Expo returns to Los Angeles on May 29th. The National Stationery Show (May 18-21), always in New York in May will be there once again - is there a better place than New York City in May? May is a great time to scout a new show - make that your excuse … remember the lessons we have brought to you - think sideways; chicken wings at the Pizza Show!
