Wholesale Pricing on Trade Show Booths

We're having a pre-Thanksgiving treat - just to get all of you winter month exhibitors to finalize your decisions early on your next trade show rental or purchase. This is what usually happens - after Thanksgiving when everyone else is in their holiday mood - partying, shopping at the mall, and eating ... our workshop (much like Santa's) is working overtime - eating cold pizza, shopping at the gas station, and never seeing their wife or kids! This year in an effort to give everyone at least one day a week off - we are offering this incredible sale to get your orders early - so help us ... help you. This is wholesale pricing for THIS WEEK ONLY - Check it out!

Choosing the Right Show

This is very simple and pretty obvious – when analyzing your show budget and deciding which shows are the must-go-to’s – call your current clients. This concept works well on many levels. You are making contact with clients - always very important and you are seeking their advice – rather than trying to sell them something. The key is to ask what shows they attend and to find out the importance of those shows to their purchasing decisions. Ask them if they are interested in seeing your products or services at particular shows. Always let them know that you value their feedback. Read More.

Space Selection

The freight aisle is the aisle that must remain clear for freight to be forwarded to the exhibit booth spaces. If you choose a booth on one of these aisles – know that your freight will be the last into the convention hall – and the first out. That said – if your exhibit is not elaborate construction and if you do not need a day to merchandise your space, this could be a good choice. However, you can literally wait until the night before to get your exhibit installed. Read More.

Advance Warehouse vs. Direct Shipping

In the “old” days shipping to the Advance Warehouse may have cost a few extra dollars – now even that has changed in most cases. There are many advantages to shipping to the Advance Warehouse – you will save money on shipping, your freight will be unloaded before direct-to-convention-center freight in most cases, your freight will be delivered direct to the show floor, and there will be no surprise overtime charges. Convention News - Merry March!

The interesting thing about March – there are shows everywhere across the USA. In winter months there are less shows in New England and the upper mid-west. In late summer there are far fewer shows in the southeast – it's hurricane season! Even in Las Vegas there are only a handful of shows in June, July, and August. Yet, it seems when March comes around we have shows everywhere. The International Home & Housewares Show is in Chicago, Pittcon venued in New Orleans this year is the world's largest, most comprehensive Conference and Exposition for laboratory science. Con Expo/Con Agg takes over Las Vegas - even the parking lots with 2.2 million square feet of displays! A new show to Las Vegas this year, previously from Chicago - Transworld Halloween. March also has the largest natural and organic trade show in the US, ExpoWest - with 2800 exhibitors!
