Green Concious Exhibiting

Did you know that by using a tea bag without a string and a tag attached we prevent 3 million pounds of paper from being deposited in landfills – isn’t that incredible? I can add so many other concepts like this, as can everyone. And that is my point – we all have to do whatever we can to help the environment. Whether you believe in global warming or not – the overall concept of reducing paper usage, changing light bulbs, really recycling – these are all worth the effort for all of us.
With this in mind Absolute Exhibits has established a Green Conscious mandate. In a world where quality environment is key, where green grass is wanted, and where green drives business, how could the exhibit industry look the other way?

Going green and becoming green has never been more urgent for both exhibitors and suppliers. This is a very difficult bar to jump over as working in very tight time constraints with union restrictions, makes the challenge not just about turning on the green light in our workshop, but also on the trade show floor.

While the formula for being green has yet to be clearly established the Absolute Exhibits idea is to be Green Conscious. For your next trade show, partner with Absolute Exhibits and minimize waste by renting an exhibit made of prefabricated, reusable systems components and still achieve a sophisticated look while being environmentally aware. Amongst the many new initiatives we have undertaken at Absolute Exhibits:

All of our steel and aluminum scraps are sent to recycling centers.
All carpeting is steam cleaned, repaired, and cut to a new size to minimize waste.
Carpet padding is recycled for packing material, and carpet is used for crate lining.
In our offices we have maximized technology for our internal processes to eliminate paper.
We have installed motion-sensing switches for our offices in Tustin and Las Vegas that eliminate high-energy consumption.
The lights at our manufacturing facility are set-up with timers for automatic on and off.

When we talk about “saving the planet,” or being “environmentally friendly” it seems people take sides instantly. Why is this? why try to rationalize why not to care for the world, and in the process care for other people, or on the other side why would we argue about the specifics of how to go about being “green” with people who are already trying to do what they can?

Simply – here is what we know - as more people reduce their ecological footprint by becoming conscious consumers, each person’s effort, no matter how small, will make a difference.

We have a full network of international partners that work with us to arrange rental exhibits, installation and dismantle crews, and paperwork issues in most of the world’s largest international venues.
