| So ... you want to become one of the big guys! |
You want to make a bigger presence at your industry show, so you’ve taken a larger booth space, but your existing exhibit isn’t
big enough to fill the space?Consider renting! In this circumstance you could either rent an entire exhibit or just rent some additional properties that
will compliment your exhibit and fill in the extra space. When all else fails – create a lounge area in your space. Trees, sofas, chairs, and cold water make an inviting oasis at a show.
|
Quick Rental Considerations ...
1. You exhibit in less than two or three shows a year.
2. You are a first time tradeshow exhibitor.
3. Your exhibit is old, worn or looks unprofessional.
4. You need two exhibit properties for overlapping shows.
5. You have a budget – don’t we all!

Renting = Simple Accounting |
A rental exhibit requires a much lower one time cash outlay than a purchased exhibit.
A purchase must be amortized
over several shows – while
rentals can be expensed 100
percent to specific shows with
the added benefit of a true cost
per show. Renting can improve
your cash position on your
balance sheet – as you have no
asset to depreciate.

I&D Outsourcing ...Service, Reliability, Communication & Trust |

EAC (exhibitor appointed
contractor) I & D firms
provide the continuity and
experience that most major
companies look for today
when they arrive on the
showfloor. Inexperienced
exhibit managers stick with the
show contractors and get hit
and miss service. Establishing
a relationship with an I&D
contractor is an invaluable tool

While most indicators point to a resurgent economy – every company rep we speak with
|
still discusses the uncertain feelings of their higherups, if not themselves. The free flowing, let’s party atmosphere may forever be gone from the tradeshow floor in today’s world of tight budgets and an unsure financial system. Good economic judgment has propelled many major companies from purchasing to renting a display.
|
Beyond the higher initial cost to purchase
an exhibit, there are the long-term costs
of ownership such as storage, maintenance,
refurbishment, and ultimately the eventual
disposal of a worn-out display. Additionally
there is limited flexibility restricting future
booth space choices, not to mention the
nightmare of shipping and all of the costs
associated with transportation.
|

|
However, when it really comes down to the
decision whether to rent or buy most clients
talk about their image, long before the costs
are discussed. Today there is no reason to
contract a rental exhibit that looks rented.
There are many approaches and materials to
customize rental booth properties to present
your company’s best image on the trade show
floor. It only takes a bit of creativity on behalf
of your exhibit rental company and an open
mind on your behalf. Our company, as do
many others, takes a three-step approach
to meeting our clients appearance and
budgetary needs, offering systems, hybrids
and custom rentals at three pricing levels

So do you rent or don’t you? If you are
on the fence think of the word opportunity.
Renting offers you the opportunity to test new
tradeshows, the opportunity to try a new booth
layout, and the opportunity to be in two shows
at the same time … no missed opportunities
either! Custom exhibits are not leaving the
planet – but adding rental to a program just
makes good sense.
