Hosted by the American Gaming Association, this year’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) was held in Las Vegas at the Sands Expo and Convention Center on October 3-5.

Known as “the show” in the casino-entertainment industry, G2E featured over 450 exhibitors and attracted nearly 26,000 gaming professionals to network, learn and buy/sell technologies, services and products, including slot machines, table games, iGaming and much more.

For the past 11 years, Absolute Exhibits has had a significant presence at G2E with dozens of clients exhibiting at this show, and we can genuinely say that G2E continues to grow and improve each and every year.

Our client, Casino Technology, selected our team as its trade show display partner to build a modern 45×45-foot custom exhibit at G2E.

Design Concept

Casino Technology has been a leading provider of video slot games and gaming solutions for nearly 20 years. With locations in more than 15 countries and over 1,500 employees worldwide, the company has been incredibly successful in carving out a name for itself within the industry.

Casino Technology’s primary objective was to showcase its latest product innovations, including the premiere of its new ARCH™ Titan slot machine and the EZ MODULO™, which was released a few months ago but has quickly become a sought after product.

The Challenge
Technological advancements and product innovations at Casino Technology made for a rapidly changing landscape and design requirements. As a result, both teams had to be nimble enough to accommodate multiple booth design iterations.

The Solution
For 6 months, Don Burks, Senior Account Executive at Absolute Exhibits, worked closely with Nataly Baevska, Corporate Events Manager at Casino Technology, gathering information, developing design concepts and collecting all the final details to ensure the finished booth design exceeded client expectations and achieved the business and marketing objectives.

The original booth concept featured a double deck structure, which the client loved. However, we ultimately decided on a single level exhibit, which would provide more floor space to accommodate several video slot machines and promote traffic flow from one area to another without impeding on other stakeholders.

“The final booth design provided few barriers and immediate gratification for clients as they would walk into the booth,” said Don Burks. “We also aimed to make the booth less intimidating and more inviting by introducing a walk-up bar for clients to relax, eat and drink.”

The exhibit also featured incredible lighting around the booth, frontlit and backlit graphics and counters with locking storage.

Attendees could find a walkup bar area with food and drinks toward the rear and overhead hung a spectacular 5-piece hanging sign with two large 5×12-foot LED screens.

Results

Casino Technology was excited to finally see the exhibit come to life on the trade show floor.

“It was a pleasure for us to work with Absolute Exhibits,” said Nataly Baevska. “They are professional and pay very close attention to the details. This was our first time working with the team and we were very happy with the service that we received and will continue to work with them in the future. A big ‘thanks’ especially to Michael Stef and, of course, Don Burks. Thank you both for being such hard workers.”

Don Burks had the following to say:

“Everyone was incredibly happy with the end result. I know we’ll only improve our efforts for 2018.”
